Last night my bride and I were at the BOK Center in the lobby waiting on some more friends to arrive to see Hillsong United in concert. My friend Jeff Rains sent a text to another friend Jason Schrepel which said, "Yeahhhhhhhhh!" The predictive text on his iPhone translated that into the word "Uraniuam!" The look on Jason's face as he tried to figure out what Jeff's message meant was priceless.What I witnessed was the birth of a new fad. Whenever someone in the group would say something especially awesome, it would be followed up with the word, "Uranium!" Needless to say, it was very fun to be around them last night.
That is exactly how trends get started I think, someone does or says something by accident and then it gets picked up and more people say or do it. And before long, we are looking at the latest thing. So hey thanks Jeff for your iPhone's hijack of the word you were actually trying to say. Dude, that is so uranium!"
